Date: Thursday, April 3, 2025, 12:00 – 3:00 PM EST (Rain Date 4 April 2025)

Event description:

What to bring/wear/expect: Please dress appropriately for the weather and for being down on the ground, digging, handling soil and plants. Close toe shoes are required, long sleeves and hats are recommended. Please wear sun and insect protection of your choosing. VDCR will bring some shovels, gloves, and hand tools, but if you have your favorite gloves/tool, please feel free to bring them. If you have any special medical conditions, please bring anything you need (insulin, EpiPen, etc.). VDCR staff will have a first aid kit and AED on site. Please bring water or another hydrating fluid, VDCR staff will bring a water cooler for refilling bottles.
