During the virtual presentation, DEQ staff will walk through the agency’s responsibilities throughout the lifecycle of solid waste landfills – from initial siting to post-closure care. We’ll go over a basic landfill design, explore different types of landfills, and identify opportunities for public involvement in the landfill permitting process.
