"Our Mammalogy course helps build your knowledge of mammal species and their unique characteristics through a guided tour of our native species exhibits, an up close observation of one of our skunks or opossums, and exploring a variety of furs, skulls, and bones. Our instructor, Bo, has over 30 years at the VLM and does a fantastic job sharing his knowledge through storytelling and highlighting unique adaptations of these species. The three hour class will be broken up into classroom exploring with biofacts, a 1-hour guided tour of our outdoor exhibits, and a chance to meet our ambassador animal." (note: the course will also include an up close look at the new Wildlife Care Center).

We need a minimum of 15 members to participate and a maximum of 30, at a cost of $20.00 per person.  The presentation will be good for 3 hours of Continuing Education credit which can be entered in Better Impact under Virginia Living Museum.  At the conclusion of the presentation at 12:00, participants will be free to roam the museum as they wish without further charge.
