Green Infrastructure Tour registration for tour on Aug. 24  9:00 a.m. - 12:00 pm

Enjoy a self-guided tour of 10 beautiful and functional greening projects in Norfolk.

CBF and partners will be on hand at each location to share how these real-life green  infrastructure projects like tree plantings, shoreline restoration, upland buffers, rain gardens, and bioswales help improve water quality by filtering pollutants. Also, learn how these features enhance our quality of life by reducing flooding, protecting habitat, and beautifying landscapes.
Learn how you can incorporate these practices on your own property and receive a resource guide for plants and expert advice. Registered participants will receive tour site descriptions and locations two days before the event.
