Location:  Pleasure House Point Natural Area

Event Description:

On Thursday September 24^th and Friday, the 25^th, the City of Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation, Chesapeake Bay Foundation, and Lynnhaven River NOW will be partnering alongside many other agencies to conduct a bioblitz of Pleasure House Point Natural Area. Together, we will work to locate, identify, and record as many living species as possible over a specific period of time. This targeted survey will help our park staff know what species are present within the park, verify and update the information that we have, and provide critical data that we can use to maintain, protect, and restore Pleasure House Point Natural Area.

Herpetological Survey Group

Terrestrial Macroinvertebrate Survey Group

Aquatic Macroinvertebrate Survey Group

Near Shore Waters Aquatic Fauna Survey Group
