Catch the King Event!!!

iCal

Date: Oct 9 - 11: Official Catch the King Event!!!

Location: Various

Details:

Catch the King (CTK) is a community science program that mobilizes volunteers to map the extent of tides and flooding during the fall season of perigean spring tides, commonly known as “king tides,” in Virginia. During the king tide, participants use a mobile app to collect location-based data points along the water's edge at peak high tide.

Please see the attached flyer and info below from Stephanie Letourneau, the Catch the King coordinator.

We are currently in the midst of scheduling training events for Catch the King.

If anyone in Tidewater Master Naturalists is interested, we would be happy to co-host a training and help volunteers be set up for success! We've had quite a few volunteers from this incredible group and want to support as much as we can.
