Join Wild Virginia on October 24th at 6:30 p.m. when we will host Paul Angermeier for a discussion of ways that stream environments are and may be increasingly affected by the changing climate. Quickly-evolving weather patterns, including warmer temperatures and changes in intensity and frequency of severe weather events, such as floods and droughts, can have serious negative effects on aquatic species and physical and chemical habitat features. It is important that we continue to learn about these threats and take any possible actions to lessen predictable damages. We will describe how Wild Virginia's water quality and connectivity programs can contribute to the solutions.
