The Zoo is teaming up with the Association of Zoos and Aquariums to celebrate our community, conservation, and animals at the zoo.

Event Name: Party for the Planet 2025: Volunteer Showcase

Location: Virginia Zoo - 3500 Granby St. Norfolk, VA 23504

Time: 9:30am-2:00pm

OUTSIDE: All events hosted at the zoo are outside. Our current plan is to host all visiting organizations in our event field and pavilion. You will receive a 10x10 space with 1 6ft table and 2 chairs (additional tables and chairs are available upon request). Tents are not required, but our encouraged for shade.

Event Details: Event page.  This will be updated as we finalize the event details. Party for the Planet is AZA's celebration of conservation efforts between Earth Day and World Ocean's Day including Endangered Species Day with particular focus on the Saving Animals From Extinction Programs.  For this year, we want to highlight our community and region's conservation efforts and volunteerism and encourage more for 2025. By joining us, you also earn FREE TICKETS for your organization to invite employees or volunteers to engage each other's organizations and conservation efforts.
