Training

One of the things people enjoy most about the Virginia Master Naturalist program is the variety of training opportunities.

One requirement for becoming a Virginia Master Naturalist is to attend forty hours of Basic Training, offered once per year in the spring.

Once the basic training is complete, at least 8 hours of Continuing Education must be completed each year to become a Certified Master Naturalist.
